@martytrombone its all about cruijf and rinus michels (rip) for both ajax and barca
@groengeleserkan That’s right, but do you mean this Ajax is not one of the best club squads ever?
I just wanted to give Ajax the credits, because before bosman the clubs’ financial possibilities weren’t as decisive as now, because clubs had more restrictions about buying and selling (foreign) players.
I agree that the current Barcelona is legendary, an example for other (rich) clubs, but : where did Barcelona’s philosophy come from?
Their vision vision makes both legendary
@martytrombone
post Bosman the current Barcelona has far surpassed the ajax of the 90s. in all those mentioned aspects.
it’s the same philosophy just developed through and with more quality players.
EN HET IS NIET VERSNELD AFGESPEELD,,,MOET NAGAAN HOE GOED ZE SPEELDE TOEN
Ajax ´95 classic team
I would love to see this Ajax (’95) against the current FC Barcelona. Maybe two of the best top quality football teams that has ever been there with their own philosophy, also from own youth. A match everyone would probably pay for.

@robesantaana Okay, I’m not going to type a message in Spanish again. What’s your point? We were talking about Litmanen and Ronaldo, not about the last two games between Ajax and Madrid. Today, there are hundres of teams better than Ajax, so what? Get to the point, why is Ronaldo better than Litmanen was? You don’t have any good arguments…
mooie tijd
I loved AJAX…it ‘s always been a talented team…not to remember that it was the first club that played what is called “total football playing”….
@martytrombone totally agree, its such a shame that the club was litterally ripped apart by Bosman and still havent recovered
Ajax was almost 20 years old or something!

@dave10172 So you are telling me the crowd in Estadio Santiago Bernabeu was giving Bayern a standing ovation after the match? I don’t think so. The Ajax-team from the mid-nineties is legendary, winning everthing with a team full of youngsters who came directly out of the Ajax-school. Maybe Barca owned them a few times, but the hate is too big for the Madrid fans to show there appreceation for a football-masterclass given by their arch-rivals.
@Guessmylevel JAAJ!
Weer 0-2! ;D
@lindehit totally agree,it seems that today players are more worried about their looks than their prestations on the field
