ok i agree with u,,,but remeber football is more than goals and assists … Assists and goals can’t happen unless there is players who destroy the game of the other team…that destroyer of game was Iniesta. He took and dribbled many players to open spaces for his teammates. His magic was so good that he was marked by more than 2 players at time which gave his teammates more chances and space.
he shouldn’t win the balon door he was way too inconsistent with barca many injuries messi was the main man again we just mention other players because many are tired of seeing him winning it

Internationally Iniesta has won more at a time when footballers are so much better than they were in zidanes days, every year we see football becoming a better, more advanced game. Iniesta surely is topping the list as the best midfielder of all time.

My favorite midfielders ever are Zidane, Xavi, Iniesta, Scholes, Cruyff, and Platini. I like a whole lot more but to me the people I listed are legends forever. Laudrup is incredibly too, he’s underrated but just my opinion Zidane is the greatest midfielder of all time.

Iniesta is a phenomenal player, but it’s difficult to imagine that being possible, he’s on the same level, but for me no one will ever be like or better than Zidane. Iniesta is both a midfield maestro and a general on the pitch, but Zidane is a genius and a magician. Both are legends. I’m not saying you are wrong because this is all opinion based, just saying what I think.

What about Iniesta < Zidane. Iniesta and Zidane are truly magnificent but Iniesta has a lot of great players in the Spain World Cup winning team while France didn't even have half of what Spain has right now.
